A series of papers on travel behaviour dynamics are published. The effect of habit formation over time is observed as an asymmetric response to equal but opposite changes in circumstances (e.g. income increasing and decreasing). It is acknowledged that time lags exist between changes in circumstances and changes in travel behaviour.
